Ah... I sympathize? I, too, have been thought of as... strange.

Um... traditionally the devil is the leader of rebellion against God. In terms of Western religion, at least. if God is all that is good and righteous then the devil is evil... but if God is tyrannical, cruel, and stifling, then the devil's rebellion against that order is justified and good.
