it's just like normal cartoons, but they were made in japan instead, and usually you have to watch them subtitled because a lot of people get angry over dubs

[ three minutes later, a video feed pops up for alucard, focused on- well, nothing, actually. venus's voice trickles in- ]

-don't laugh, okay? I don't know how to draw anything, so I just sort of-

[ as she apologetically rambles, she takes out eight little post-it notes. on each of them, alucard can clearly see: two small stick figures, smiling and waving! one of them has wings and the other has very long hair. hmm. ]

-so you just, uh, you sort of flip them now? [ she fumbles with the corner of the stack, trying hard to keep the camera steady. ] And when you do that, they sort of move, like-

[ she tries to flip through, slowly enough to take a second or two altogether. sure enough... they're now actively waving! and venus is flying off, sort of. her wings aren't moving but the intent's clear. ]

-so that's basically what a cartoon is? It's that, but like... good.
